thoughts at three am

Hello strangers.

I'm sort of in the process of winding down from hours of study. So I'm lurking the innanets, as I usually do and I paid a visit to my good friend Fish's blog. I really like how he's used the blog to put down his thoughts, and so I was inspired to take on his approach. Here's what's on my mind tonight (and I'm saying 'tonight' because, technically my night hasn't ended yet, even though it's the early hours of the morning).

Of course, it's in the form of a list. Have to keep a theme going, right?

• I absolutely hate school 

I don't mean high school or uni, or whatever. I just mean school in particular, mostly the studying aspect. But that's only because I am incredibly lazy and terribly organised and I always leave things at the last minute and I'm altogether too easy to distract. So, basically, I am the worst at studying. Which is kind've ironic, since I am going to be a teacher. Then again, this is a good thing. I can teach people to not be a mess like me. 

But who'd listen to me, anyway?

• I miss a lot of people 

I miss familiar faces. I miss sitting next to friends in class and doodling little kitties and bows into their books. I miss sharing jokes. I miss laughing. I miss having company during my breaks between class. I miss bitching about assignments with my friends in the same classes. I miss the 8-2 days. 

For someone as introverted as me, it's really fucking weird to be craving a more social environment. I guess I'm not really saying (writing) it right. I don't really want new friends. I want my old friends back.  

• I don't know where I'm at, or where I'm going

Boohoo. Who does?

• Holy fuck, it is Autumn 

It's getting colder. Fucking snuggie weather.
Also, I really want a leopard print snuggie. But I have too much stuff that comes in leopard print, and it makes me feel like an old woman. When I am a gross mother way past her prime, I am going to wear a leopard print track suit. Obviously, it's going to be in velour, and there will be words stitched across the ass like "CHEEKY". I think I'd like mine to read "CUNT".

• Though I hate to admit it, early Australian history can be pretty interesting

Or maybe I'm just delusional. It's almost 4am now. 

...Yeah, delusional.

• I am really actually pretty productive after midnight 

But now I am tired and cold and bed seems a great place to be right now.
